Our jet boats leave from the end of the road at Vinegar Creek. This section of river gives our fishermen a unique ability to catch Steelhead in the most remote and uncrowded places in Idaho. Our jet boat charters are a great option for both novice and experienced fishermen, customized to your abilities. We operate on over 200 river miles of Idaho’s best steelhead fishing many only accessible by jet boat. Our trips are guided by knowledgeable guides of not only the river but also the history surrounding this area and it’s fish. A good lunch, and quality tackle is provided.
Snake River “Hells Canyon” Steelhead
Snake River Steelhead fishing from Pittsburgh Landing in the heart of the Hells Canyon Wilderness. Our location provides for an exciting opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime in one of the most remote areas in the lower 48 states.
Hells Canyon is North America’s deepest river gorge at 7,993 feet (2,436m). The canyon was carved by the Snake River, which flows 7,400 feet (2,300 m) below the peaks of Idaho’s Seven Devils Mountain range. Most of the area is inaccessible by road and makes for World-Class fishing adventures. Our trips start at Pittsburgh landing conveniently situated for the best fishing on the Snake River and the lower end of the Salmon. A nice lunch and all tackle is provided.
Lower Salmon River Steelhead Fishing
Fish from either Hammer Creek launch site at White Bird, Idaho or from Spring Bar just 10 miles from Riggins. The Steelhead fishing on the Lower Salmon River can have a bit warmer water and better winter fishing than the wilderness section along with Fall King fishing September and October. Fishing from Riggins provides us many options for getting our clients to the best fishing available through the entire season.

If the conditions are not great on one section we can get you to the fish on another. We operate both jet boats and drift boats to make sure you get the best experience possible and to allow us to get you to the best fishing no matter what time of year or conditions.
Hells Canyon is awesome in every way, the best year around fishing in Idaho. The Snake River offers consistent water temperatures to give it the highesty fish per mile river section anywhere. Choose from warm water Bass, prehistoric Sturgeon or ocean run King Salmon. We use Rafts and Jet Boats to get you through the challenging whitewater on 1 to 6 day adventures.
The River of No Return is the largest un damed rivers in the lower 48 and has hundreds of miles of natural spawning of wild Steelhead. The Salmon River has breathtaking scenery and is teeming with wildlife as most of it flows through Idaho’s Wilderness. The Salmon River boasts some of the best wild and hatchery runs of Steelhead in the nation along with great Trout, Bass and Salmon.
Whether you’re on a one-day adventure, a cast and blast in Hells Canyon, or savoring the good life at one of the lodges, our menu offers the best of both worlds. From our signature hot pastrami sandwiches to the indulgent prime rib dinner and our famous China Bar rolls, every dish is crafted with the highest quality ingredients and prepared with the care and artistry of a high-end restaurant.
Both our drift boats and jet boats are clean and equipped with heaters during the fall and winter fishing trips. Our boats are meticulously maintained and purpose-built for the unique rivers we navigate and the fish we pursue. Our fleet includes two 6-passenger boats and three large twin jet boats, ranging from 23 to 32 feet, ensuring there’s a perfect fit for any group size.
You will not be disappointed with the rods and reels and all the terminal tackle we provide. We take clients with all experience levels although some equipment may fail if not used correctly. Our guides work tirelessly on keeping our quality fishing tackle in good working condition and replace it regularly.
